Transworld will publish Paul Kidby's Designing Terry Pratchett’s Discworld on 7th November 2024.

'Written and illustrated by Paul Kidby, Sir Terry Pratchett’s artist of choice for many years, the book is described by the publisher as “an incredible celebration of Discworld art and a brilliant homage to the decades-long collaboration between Paul and Terry... it will take readers behind the scenes of one of the great creative partnerships and is packed with unseen art and the real stories behind it.'

Rob Wilkins said: 'I’m privileged to have been at the creative coalface with not one but two incredible minds, seeing Discworld’s creatures and characters come to life. Terry always considered Paul’s work the definitive embodiment of his vision, and this book gives us a unique window into the creative process of a wildly talented artist who defined Discworld not only for Terry, but for generations.'

The Cheriton Players will present their production of Wyrd Sisters this coming April!

"When Duke Felmet murders King Verence and takes over Lancre on the Discworld®, three witches are tasked with protecting the king’s baby son, Tomjon: Granny Weatherwax (intolerant, self opinionated, powerful), Nanny Ogg (down to earth, common) and Magrat Garlick (innocent, naive, slightly hippy). In a script that channels inspiration from the juiciest plot twists of Shakespeare’s Macbeth and Hamlet, plus a dose of essential HG Wells time-travel we encounter a wicked duke and duchess, the ghost of the murdered king, dim soldiers, strolling players plus a land in peril. And who stands between the Kingdom and destruction? Our three witches. Tickets are on sale and selling fast!"

When: 23rd-27th April 2024 Venue: Cheriton Village Hall, Cheriton, Alresford, Hants SO24 0PZ Time: 19.30 all shows Tickets: £13, available online from https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/cheritonplayers
